Picture Description Year Our Price
Harmony Kingdom Tile - Nessie's Nook

Nessie's Nook - The central theme on this tile figurine is a group of puffins being tormented by an angry sea serpent. Peter's signature mouse has scurried from "The Lost Ark" and floats atop a tin can in an attempted rescue. One puffin, having just finished his stint as referee for the World Cup, waves a card at the serpent as punishment for having upset his friend's evening. The tip of the serpent's tale has been transformed into a barbed Scud missile. And finally, Rufus makes another appearance, riding bareback on the serpent. He's wearing a snorkel mask and flippers, and if you look closely, he has a dagger strapped to his thigh.

Harmony Kingdom Tile - Point Siren Song

Point Siren Song - The star of this tile figurine is the Great White Shark, homing in on the mermaid who is completely unaware of him as she combs her hair and drinks her diet soda. This mermaid's got attitude. Witness her tummy ring and tatoo of a TV aerial, a take on the name of Disney's "Little Mermaid" character. Above the shark is a pair of fiddler crabs, providing musical accompaniment. Near the mermaid is a confused turtle amorously eyeing a German soldier's helmet left on the beach. Notice the insect atop the helmet. He'll soon be the Rock Monster's dinner. The monster's unfeasibly long tongue may remind you of a scene from "Return of the Jedi."

Harmony Kingdom Tile - Showboat

Showboat - At top left, an owl in a tree surveys the scene about to unfold. The woman trying to extricate her horse from its box isn’t paying attention, and so will miss what’s about to happen. The snobbish rider atop her mount, proudly clutching her winners’ trophy (the horse just as snobbishly sports a rosette), is about to land unceremoniously into the water jump area. Maybe the number 13 isn’t such good luck after all. Certainly the geese aren’t waiting around for the splash and are already fleeing. Worse, her proud dog is following and is himself about to land on top of an unsuspecting goose. Unfortunately, a press photographer is about to catch the whole moment on film. Meanwhile, to the right, a squirrel shields his eyes in dismay as he readies for the splash. Two horses, one a "Thelwell" style Yorkshire pony, are nuzzling up to each other. Note the shark’s fin in the water! .

Harmony Kingdom Tile - Sky Master Sky Master - Remember the trio of flying ducks from Coronation Street, Britain's longest running drama serial? They appeared on Hilda Ogden's living room wall. They're back, except if you look at one of the ducks on this tile figurine you'll see it's an eagle in camouflage. Our cheeky hare, rufus, makes his first appearance, taking pot shots at the birds, but his aim is off due to a perforated balloon sinking earthwards. Overseeing all of this is the first of the cherubs seen in other tiles, but this one's intentions are hardly angelic. Notice the title of his cookbook and the flying cornucopia overflowing with oranges. Is he planning to prepare duck a-la orange? 1999 £18.95
Harmony Kingdom Tile - Slow Downs

Slow Downs - Amidst the beautiful magic lantern flowers on this tile figurine we see a beetle jockey, taking out his prized thoroughbred snail for a run. A rival trainer attempts to spoil the day's training session by spreading "Saxo" salt on the snail's tail. Notice the chevrons on the salt container. Try to guess what this has in common with cooking salt?

1999 £18.95
Harmony Kingdom Tile - Sun Catchers

Sun Catchers - At bottom left on this tile figurine is a cherub wearing dark shades, aiming his catapult at one of the storks. The UFO at top right has the word "Foo" inscribed on its underside. This is short for "Foo Fighters," enigmatic flying objects sighted during World War II. Rufus reappears, this time holding on for dear life atop the UFO.

1999 £18.95
Harmony Kingdom Tile - Swing Time

Swing Time - In the foreground of this tile figurine, a fishing bug worries about his catch. The lake monster isn't too pleased either. A donkey mischievously bites the tail of a cat from behind a hedge grove, while a mouse looks on with relieved astonishment. Oblivious to this mayhem, a couple of squirrels enjoy the romance of the garden, while a lone rabbit wistfully looks on

1999 £18.95
Harmony Kingdom Tile - Thunder Dome

Thunder Dome - Five multi-racial cherubs fly about on this tile figurine. One holds a parasol in case of prevailing showers. Two of the cherubs have managed to discard their fig leaves, seen hanging on the washing line, and are favouring the world below. At top left is the stairway to heaven.

1999 £18.95
Harmony Kingdom Tile - Tilt A Whirl

Tilt A Whirl - The octopus dominates this tile figurine, but look closely. He's into body piercing and has a tattoo done in the best naval tradition. On one of his tentacles he wears a diver's watch by which he can time his attacks on the meerkats waiting for the loo. At the back of the queue, a female meerkat flirts with one of the lads, showing off her designer handbag. His compadre standing alongside is unimpressed. He's wielding a stick to pin down the tentacle before it whisks him away. The two nearest the loo have the call of nature to fight off. This is going to be difficult as the doorway is barred with another of the tentacles slipped into the door handle. Notice where the outflow pipe leads. .

1999 £18.95
Harmony Kingdom Tile - Two Blind Mice

Two Blind Mice - Two shortsighted mice are the central characters of this tile figurine. The leading mouse sports an eye patch and swag bag while the other wears a monocle and smokes a pipe. As they busily collect holiday berries, a little bug above them holds on for dear life to a sprig of holly. His friend peers from the petals of the Christmas rose off to the left, scared by his mate's predicament. Another bug hides in ivy tendrils at top right, wearing hat and scarf, because it's cold

1999 £18.95
Harmony Kingdom Tile - Whale Watch

Whale Watch - This tile figurine concentrates on the sculptural possibilities of the Blue Whale. Notice "Big Blue" on the tail fin of the diving whale. This is a reference to the first redemption piece created by Harmony Kingdom for its Royal Watch club members. The chap in the dinghy is Ishmael from "Moby Dick." However, his aim is not what it should be and he's punctured the dinghy with his harpoon.

1999 £18.95
Harmony Kingdom Tile - Zen Garden

Zen Garden - The lake from "Swing Time" and "Bumble's Bridge" has become a gentle stream in this tile figurine, which depicts a Japanese garden. Notice the symmetrical gravel, polished boulders, bonsai tree and lantern. The gardener, a spiritual beetle, takes a break, while a little bug regards the rake, wondering if he should take over. The beetle reads a book on Tai Chi and extends a leg as part of its instruction. A flower from Byron's garden appears in the foreground. Does this foreshadow our hero's future travels?
